Tailoring training was started at an remote place Eathamozhi, Kanyakumari district. 30 trainees aged 18-40 were selected on 27-Jan-2016 and later the training was conducted from 01-Feb-2016 to 15-02-2016. DDM NABARD, LDM, IOB Managers and AD(Handicrafts) join in person for inagural fuction.
With gratitude to NABARD and guidence of VSSC, the people of Eathamozhi, Nagercoil are sure to florish while micro entrepreneurs start production units. The beneficiaries showed great enthusiasm on learning and practicing.
Banana fiber was started on 02-Feb-2016 and ended on 16-Feb-2016 for 13 days. 30 trainees participated in the training contested at Meenakshipuram, Nagercoil,Kanyakumari district. As Banana fiber products find good market and fetch better income to the artisans, they were inbustructed to show best skills.
The beneficiaries will get a stipend of Rs.5,000/- per month during the training. All the two trainings have been sucessfully completed and as instructed during the training the trainees prepare their project proposals to start micro-production center. The area banks are processing their proposals.
Vidial Social Welfare Center sell various handicraft products at local markets of Nagercoil, Kanyakumari, Suchindrum and Padmanabhapuram which are tourist spots where people of all States of India and other nations come as tourists. As said earlier we are able to sell to shop keepers regularly and marketig is not a problem to us since our product moves as hot cake.

Kundan Neckless project was sucessfully functioned at Kandervilogom, Colachel, Kanyakumari district. Morethan 60 unemployed SHG members engaged in this activity since 10-Jul-2015.
Toy making training was started 28-Aug-2015 and every regular 3 months once 30 un employed SHG members engaged in learning. Apart from this we provide Enterpreneurship training for the SHG members to enhance their marketing techniques.
Sea Shell Training has been sucessfully inagurated on 16-Oct-2015 at Kalkulam & Kunnamgal, Kanyakumari district. Nearly 45 SHG members where joinly involved in this activity.
